Regina to host U13, Junior Women’s Box Events

Regina, SK—The Lacrosse Canada Box Sector approved a motion from the Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association late last week that will see the addition of a women’s box national championship and women’s box invitational event to the slate of national championships set to be held in Regina, SK in August.

The Junior Women’s Box National Championship will return after several years, and a women’s U13 Box National Invitational tournament will be held for the first time.

Regina will also play host to the 2023 Minor Nationals—U13 Box, U15 Men’s Box, U15 Women’s Box, U17 Men’s Box, and U17 Women’s Box National Championships from August 14-19, 2023.

Saskatchewan Lacrosse is excited to host these events, and for provinces to build on the success of their 2022 Canada Summer Games teams.

All events will be held at the Co-operators Centre in Regina, SK where attendees can watch the top minor lacrosse players from across the nation compete to be crowned the 2023 National Champions.

More information will be shared as it becomes available.
